 A detached, five bedroom town house with swimming pool for sale in Tomar, central Portugal. The house, which measures 420 square metres, of construction is set on a plot measuring around 1,000 square metres.
The house, which has electric entrance gates, has many traditional features including traditional marble cobbled paths and wooden ceilings to the verandas. The house is set over three floors and has double glazing throughout as well as central heating fitted to all rooms and air conditioning to rooms on the first floor. There is an alarm system fitted
The house briefly comprises:
Ground Floor: There is a spacious garage to the ground floor, which has electric 'up and over' doors. There is an office to this floor as well as a fully tiled bathroom. In addition to this there is a guest bedroom.
First Floor: The main entrance to the house is located on the first floor to the front of the house. The entrance door leads into a spacious hallway. Off this hallway there is a double aspect living room. There is a spacious dining room. The living room and dining room are open plan, however the spaces are divided using stone pillars. The kitchen is fully fitted with a selection of base and eye level French oak units and granite work surfaces. Off the kitchen there is a spacious breakfast room.
Second Floor: Stairs from the first floor lead into a spacious landing area. There are four double bedrooms to the second floor. One of these bedrooms is en-suite and has a fully tiled bathroom. There is a family sized bathroom to this floor.
Annex: To the rear of the house there is an open fronted dining annex which has a built in barbecue area. The roof of this annex has wooden beamed roof and stone pillars.
The property is located in Encosta dos Mais, which is a suburb of the historic town of Tomar. The house has good views over the city and it is only a two minute drive to the centre of Tomar. The closest airport to the property is located at Lisbon, which is approximately one hour and 15 minutes' by car.
